# Governance

xHOT is a token that is governed by holders and DAO participants. Governance allows the community to propose, vote, and implement changes through the administrative smart contract functions of the 2HOT DAO protocol.

## Protocol start

xHOT (2HOT) will begin with centralized control of the protocol (such as choosing the rate, model, SC, function, etc), and over time, will transition to complete community and stakeholder control.

### DAO Governance timing

Complete DAO will be created during STAGE 2 (Of the PRESALE), and the community and stakeholders can expect to become part of the 2HOT protocol during MAY, 2024.

### FORUM

To participates in the governance forum, be here from the beginning with us, and create something big, you will need to purchase xHOT tokens first.\
Be able to vote, create communities (official/unofficial), and earn from the 2HOT #AP, 2HOT DEX, BRIDGE, etc.<br>

### When will I be able to join the forum?

The Governance Forum will be opened for everyone owning the xHOT tokens in STAGE 1 of the PRESALE, or later. The forum will be created by the Administrator. (xHOT.eth)
